A Pair of Sandals (or Flip Flops)

Last Monday the staff of The City School of Architecture got together to come and sit (/ stand / smile / giggle) in front of a Nikon DX lens and a smiling dandy photographer who carried two large umbrellas fitted with built-in flashes, The occasion was to take a staff photo for our website at CSA (City School of Architecture).
The website was launched on Saturday (19th December). The venue where the CSA Social party’s at; D.S. Senanayake College, Architect Dakshina Palihawadana, who is a good buddy of mine, designed the building where we will party with our colleagues and student friends.

Unfortunately my mate Janaka was missing for the group shot, Shayan was on the road, and the atmosphere in the lovely SLIA premises was as usual ‘LOVELY’ with superb cross ventilation and architecture to die for.
These days I am trying various silly (but enjoyable) stunts with my small 35mm point & shoot camera. I really like the size and the design, its unfortunately pretty bad on NOISE CONTROL and has a very slow process engine, The time I click the shutter and the time it measures and tells the shutter to trigger is about 1.5 seconds, Pretty awful… but sometimes delays can be pretty as well..

Now I will just start the picture show and not disturb you till I vanish with the 3W when Ajith, my 3W driver hits the X button and we reach lightspeeed…

We will start in Peliyagoda and move to Borella and the City School of Architecture and back to the Universe…
